What is the Camelot Roundtable?
The Camelot Roundtable is a Mythic Entertainment sponsored event designed to allow players to meet and mingle with their friends and enemies of the realms. It's a great opportunity to meet the real people behind the online avatars and the game itself. This is also an opportunity for our players to meet and discuss game topics with some of our Mythic Entertainment developers.
What does this cost?
The Roundtable registration costs $100 if you pre-register. If you do not pre-register, you can still get a ticket at the door for $110. (We do not have a way to accept credit cards at the door. Cash only please!) This pass includes unlimited access to all the Roundtable events on both Friday evening and all day Saturday. This cost DOES NOT include airfare/hotel accommodations.
When and where are the Roundtable events held?
Roundtable events are to be held twice a year: once in the Spring and once in the Fall. We try to host one event on the west coast, and one on the east coast to accommodate as many players as possible.
What do I get for my registration fee?
Your registration fee enables you to participate in a whole weekend's worth of fun! On Friday evening, you will have the opportunity to mingle with fellow players and Mythic developers, as well as participate in a variety of fun games and raffles. Then, on Saturday, our morning will start off with a welcome from Executive Producer – Matt Firor, as well as a keynote speaker (To be Determined). After lunch, you will have the opportunity to chat with some of our developers during any of our several break out sessions. That evening, a costume contest, fan movie contest, plus a special Camelot themed game show will be the talk of the event. Plus, you will receive a limited edition Roundtable T-shirt for the event and a swag bag full of goodies! Best of all, you will get the unique experience of meeting hundreds of other heroes of the realms!
Can children attend this event?
Children can attend this event, but an adult must accompany all minors. The cost for children (10 and up) is the same as for adults. Children 9 and under are free!
My spouse does not play DAOC but wants to come with me. What is the fee for someone that does not play?
The fee is the same for players and non-players.
What about my hotel accommodations?
You are responsible for making your own hotel and travel arrangements. We have arranged special accommodations with the hotel hosting our event, and you may wish to take advantage of these.
What if I need to cancel my registration?
To cancel your registration, please email your request to fanfaire@darkageofcamelot.com. Please include your full name and the e-mail address you used to sign up. Refunds can only be issued before the close of registration. Once registration is closed we must guarantee the number of attendees with the venue hosting the event. After the close of registration there will be no changes to registrations, cancellations, or refunds.
Can I wear a costume to Roundtable?
You are more than welcome to wear a costume! In fact, we encourage it.
